BSOD Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I just got this headset back from RMA for a pair of HS1A that were faulty. The thing is that these 1500's have a left ear buzz/rattle. It is not the driver IMHO; rather something loose or vibrating in the ear cup. I am not the first one as you can see here http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?p=561094 I am not sure what to do. I like this headset but ANY rattle or Buzz kills the audio experience. I am sure there is something loose in the ear cup. In my mind it is something like a lead that sometimes touches the driver. If I tap the ear cup it momentarily goes away. I wish I could fix this myself but that is not something that Corsair will help me with. If I could I would take the ear cup apart and have a look. Shipping this Headset back yet again is a real put off. Since Holidays I have not had a working headset (bought the HS1A at Holidays from NCIX). **FWIW I am using v1.1 drivers** EDIT: I have to ask, why when I type Christma5 it changes to "holidays" but if I type Ramadan or Hanukkah it does not?
