jrwininger
Is distilled water enough to clean out a new radiator? I've seem some suggest distilled vinegar as well. Is the vinegar necessary?
c-attack
I would skip the vinegar or anything else that you don't want to be in your system. The purpose is to flush out any manufacturing dust or metallic elements left over from fabrication. You don't need to introduce a chemical reaction and getting the vinegar completely out would be more difficult than getting the dust out. I just did my two XR5 360s 20 minutes ago. Distilled water. End caps on. Shake for a few minutes. Drain over a paper towel or tissue if you want to see if anything came out. Mine were really clean. 1 single visible speck, but that is why you do it. If I had used vinegar I would be spending the next two days trying to get it and its smell out of my stuff.
