IT.4.Hire
Dominator Platinum CMD16GX3M2A2400C11 running at 1333 instead of 2400 in ASUS Z87 Deluxe Quad. I heard something about changing XMP Profile, which I changed to profile 1, with no difference. Thoughts? Thanks, Dave
Yellowbeard
How are you determining your memory frequency? If you set XMP, you should be at 2400.
IT.4.Hire
In the ASUS BIOS it says 1333 MHZ
Yellowbeard
That's likely showing the default speed. If you set XMP, you should be fine. Check it with CPU-Z.
IT.4.Hire
Thank you very much. Thanks also for that utility! Are there any other great Test and Benchmark Utilities? Any lightweight temp utilities that monitor and alert you all of the time? Also, I rebooted and noticed that under DRAM Info, it still shows each stick running at 1333 MHZ, but when I look up top under CPU and Total Memory, it shows DDR3 2400MHZ. Now I assume its fine, but will still test with CPU-Z. Thanks again! Dave
