nikabal Posted April 24, 2019 Share Posted April 24, 2019 Can anyone tell me if it could have caused problem or damaged keyboards system when I connected two keyboards cables to usb 2.0 ports when manual says for keyboard connector to be conncted to 3.0. USB3 gives 1A, USB2 does 0.5A, which is why you use 2 connections on USB2 systems, and only 1 on USB3 systems. There's no reason to have different combinations of this. If you use one USB3 port, you use only one connection, period. There's no point to use a USB3 and a USB2 at the same time. Only use 2 connections IF you are ONLY using USB2 ports.
