Dompi
Hello. I did a clean install today of win 8.1 and I was thinking it would be a great idea to update the firmware on my K70 (black non rgb) When installing the firmwire, I got the message "Get flash memory information failed" and my keyboard stopped working. Only thing thats working is the volume wheel and some switches is "working" but they show wrong numbers (L is 8, and F7 is A ect ect) but most switches does not work. Tested bios mode, all my USB ports and the keyboard on my laptop but does not work. What can I do to fix this issue? :[pouts:
terabyte
Disconnect all other USB devices expect for the keyboard and try again to update the firmware. That said you most likely didn't even need to update it in the first place, that firmware is really old and all keyboards being sold right now have had it applied from the factory. That's my guess at least, I don't have a K70 non-RGB to check.
Toasted
Take a look at this thread as it may help you reflash the firmware. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=104856
