k70 rgb Programming Keys

Hi. i've programmed a couple of the F keys to launch programs within my system - this is fine. but if the program is in the background and i want to display it, i can't use the same button to bring it up - if i do, it simply launches a new instance of the same program.

for example, i have f9 programmed to launch firefox. if i press it a second time, i get a second browser window.

can you think of a way to have this to either launch the program, if it isn't running, or bring the program to display, if it is?
