Edward B.
Hello everyone I was removing all the keys on my keyboard(carefully with the removal tool that came with the keyboard) to give them a clean, and as I removed the spacebar, the stabilisers came off along with the spacebar and broke in the process. What can I do now? Pictures of the broken stabiliser pieces: http://imgur.com/a/b5T4Y I've Contacted Corsair Technical Support and am waiting for a reply. Inheritance
Ohhhh, that sucks. Are there any pieces in the keyboard? Or did the entire unit get pulled out cleanly? If there are no pieces i would try to pop it back in if you can. If there are pieces then you will most likely have to RMA it.
Edward B.
No, they keyboard side of the stabiliser looks fine, the only damage is from the loose bit of the stabiliser where the spacebar fits into. I'm hoping all I have to do is clip it back on with two new stabiliser pieces from Corsair. If not I need a new keyboard. Check my last pic for a look at the keyboard. At least not that ive heard of. Its's ok tho you should be able to RMA it with Corsair.
Edward B.
Ah okay. well that's good to know, I'm still under warranty and as far as I'm aware, removing keys shouldn't void it let alone break your keyboard! Thanks for helping out!
