Default How to turn off Demo Mode?

I know I can turn it off by pressing Space or Escape, but its turning back on after a minute again. Do I really have to unplug my computer to turn it off permanently? Those rainbow patterns are really annoying after a while...

Disable the option in your BIOS to still send power to the USB ports when the computer is off.

thanks for your reply. is that the only way to do it? it took me a while to figure out the right bios setting, guess i would have prefered an on/off switch on the board or the possibility to just delete the demo-mode from the board itself...

Yes that's the only way. When the keyboard receives power but there is no USB enumeration (computer is off) the demo mode starts.
