Windows mute button indicator light issue

I bought a k65 rgb a few days ago and love it. This forum has been a treasure trove of information for me. I thank everyone who has posted profiles and assisted with macros.

Problem:

I am having a problem with the indicator light of the windows mute button. (the one between the brightness and volume buttons)

Can't get it to light up when the mute is on. I can change the static color or assign a lighting to it. But when I right click and select "indicator" and give the muted status a lighting, it does not work when I test it.

I have tried removing it from groups, resetting the button to default, and clearing the button.

Any help is much apprecieated
