Well today got interesting, time to see how steady my hands are when doing fine cuts.

A few little marks, but nothing a sand and a blob of body filler will sort out.

That's the 2 front windows cut and the side panel windows.

Little bit of tidying up,but starting to look like the vision in my head now.

Enjoy......

Well managed to get the case panels done ready for hydro graphics.

Holes filled that are not needed.

And a good sand all over.

The new aluminium floor is still at the laser guru's, but looking fantastic.

Would like to say a massive thank you to Mayhems Solutions for supporting the fluids for AIR480.

Pictures of fluids coming soon.

Hi all.

Sorry the update posts have been slow lately, been waiting on watercooling parts and the cnc work on the side panels and chassis floor.

That's all complete now,all case panels have gone to hydrographics and the floor has been sanded to a brushed aluminium effect (clear lacquer to apply)

I'm now cutting the internal acrylic panels, these will be finished this week

A few watercooling parts have arrived, just waiting on the fittings, tubing,Gpu waterblocks.

Here's a few pictures of components that arrived this week

Whilst other parts of the build are drying and waiting for return,I got a few brackets made for the EK-XTOP pumps.

Not a lot of heaight in the basement of AIR480,so had to keep the pumps as low as possible.

So I got 4 corner braces from screwfix (82p) and a few mods later I had the perfect height needed.

Also my 3M PCIE 3.0 Gpu riser cables arrived from Digi-Key.

Thanks guys for getting these to me promptly.

And a huge massive thank you to Nessie Analytics for making the perfect length needed.

A true gent and craftsman.

Hi all.

My apologies for the lack of updates.ive been manic for the last month.

My business commitments and family life.

But great news yesterday, finally found the time to Collect the case panels of AIR480

I have had them hydro dipped in a brushed aluminium finish.

They have done a great job and very professional team.

I've attached some diamond mesh behind the corsair logo,This logo is also adding ventilation to the basement where the radiators are.

I've also installed the 3mm thick clear acrylic windows,I've done a video and will get it uploaded to my YouTube channel.

Enjoy......

Greetings all.......

Sorry for the lack of updates on this build.

I've moved house, moved business premises and have been busy decorating and contract work for my business.

Also I done a build for my other half and my daughter (Sofia).

Now the new workshop decks are clear,it was time to finish off AIR480 and get ready for the next project with Antec and EVGA.

I'll back track a little here,AIR480 had a clear acrylic lid on it.the 2 gtx1080 protruded through the lid.dont get me Wong it looked nice and neat and tidy.but I wasn't happy.........

So when MSI offered the 1080TI FE,I jumped at the chance of getting everything under 1 acrylic lid.

So I made a 3mm thick acrylic frame to sit on top of the chassis of AIR480,this gave me clearance for the FE 1080TI.

Now the new acrylic lid fitted perfectly, with 1.5 mm clearance above the Gpu blocks.Niiiiiiiiiiice.........

But here's a few pictures of the upgrades for AIR480

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of my sponsors

THANK YOU.

Hi all.

Well AIR480 had a great response when it was in the corsair stand at i61.

Lots of people asking great questions on how I designed and built her.

Since the show,AIR480 has had a comp, eye strip, clean, flush through and new fluids in the loops.

I made the clear orange loop a little darker, now I'm happy.....

Hope you enjoy,it's been a fantastic project to work on.

Massive thank you to all of my sponsors,it's been a pleasure and a honour working with you all.
