The color sample book of the Paint Gods, HOUSE OF KOLOR

Staying faithful to the Maple Leaf tied into design, I decided on Candy Apple Red.

I did, and there was one item, the AeroCool CoolPanel 3 which on paper looked good. Then I did a Google search for reviews. This item is "currently unavailable" at newegg, but they had 11 customer reviews. Pretty unenthusiastic overall. Like you can read but not control fan speeds. Or that the USB devices don't work half the time, or the documentation is terrible (many comments).

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, so if we all need to discuss further, I'll start a new thread. I just want to say this. If newegg customers rate some product negatively, then I avoid it. Life is just easier that way.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the comment dingdong555, your project is awesome!

Here is some photos taken while we sandblasted the chassis. As some of you know, the factory finish on the 800D is very thick and coarse, so it required 80 grit blasting sand

Glad you like it!, It will be cleared with automotive paint to give the surface some resilience to scratches.

Hi George, I'm modding the case for Hardware Canucks. We spoke a few weeks ago in regards to dismantling the chassis. You can see what I was referring to regarding the HD bay on pg 1 of this log
