Rockhopper
Hello guys, I have taken the plunge and decided to build my first rig, however I have a small technical issue in which I am hoping someone out there might be able to assist. I have a problem with the system panel connections. The motherboard came with a asus i/o connector to make things much easier to read and install. So far I have connected the HDD LED 2 pin, PLED + 1 pin, PLED - 1 pin and the power SW 2 pin which came with the case, however I have a reset SW 2 pin also and according to my manual it should be a 3 pin. The manual says it should connect to ground, reset and +3v i.e. 3 pins. As my case only came with a 2 pin does anyone know which pin this should connect to reset + ground or reset + +3V. I hope this makes sense and look forward to x fingers a positive result. Kind regards Rock
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted November 17, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 17, 2015 Connect to reset+ground. I can't remember the last time I saw 3-pin reset.
