Corsair One hard crashes (overheating?)

As of just today, while playing PUBG my Corsair one hard crashes during gameplay. The screen freezes, and the fans crank on to max. The air venting out the top feels super hot. I have to hard power reset to recover the machine (ctrl-alt-del doesn't work).

I've downgraded my NVIDIA drivers to the last release. What should I do?

PS: This may be related to http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155860&page=7. I find often that CL4 service pegs an entire CPU core - it may not be properly moderating the fans?

I would suggest create a ticket on our RMA site if you haven't already done so.

How long have you had this unit? Can you provide me with the SN and PN? Does this only happen in PUBG?

Did you find a fix? The same thing has happened to mine. If I go into the pubg settings and leave the FPS at "Unlimited," the card eventually overheats (tracked via Link) and either crashes the game or blue screens the computer (hard crash). If I manually enter 60fps instead of unlimited, the fan stays in normal operating conditions.
