coyi64
I'm planning to get the Obsidian 750D case and I'm wondering which case fans should I go for. I'm going to build around Asus Rampage V Extreme and i7 5630K. There are many choices. I'm looking for quiet but good performance 140mm fans. Also I am not sure which cpu cooler to go for Corsair Hydro H105 or Hydro H110 Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
Dwindleflip
The 750d has terrible airflow. So it doesn't really matter what fans you use. The fans it comes with are good but they are choked by the front panel . I changed my fans to sp140s for the LEDs and the fact I stack my drive cages. They didn't make any difference really because the case front panel is restrictive.
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted October 30, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 30, 2014 Between the H105 and H110 I personally prefer the H110, which you can mount in push-pull in 750D (the same is not true of the H105). The stock fans are probably just fine, honestly, we tend not to cheap out on the included fans.
coyi64
Thanks all. I will go for H110 and not going for case fans at this moment Is it true that there could be a possibility of frontal ventilated panel for 750D? I read some threads that we could use it from another case to put on 750D.
snapper69
Corsair are working on a ventilated front panel and no, you can't use the front off a 450 case.
