How and why is in the Wikipedia article, but the simple anser is that lower USB versions tried to send less data more frequently. I can promise you that you would need hundreds of fingers to saturate the bandwidth of USB 1.1 so just be happy. :): Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
