Malcolm Orme
Just looking at a new MSI D450 Mother board and it seems to have 3 power connection on the board .The 24pin an 8 pin(CPU_PWR1) and a 4 pin (CPU_PWR2). Anybody have any suggestions of a Corsair PSU with the extra 4 pin lead. Thanks in advance
jrcobb1994
Without the full system specs its a bit difficult to tell you what wattage you will need. As for the connections for that motherboard, if you go with any of the modular power supplies that corsair produces you'll be good . Connect 2 EPS12v Cables to your PSU, then connect one full 8 pin to the motherboard, take the second 8 pin and pop it apart so you have two 4 pin connectors, only one of those is keyed right so dont worry about screwing it up.
