Case before start

Got tired of excessive fan noise and slow hard drives so I wanted to start this build. I bought a C70 and I didnt want to remove the hardware from it, so I bought a second case to use for modding. Damn I love this case!

Disassembly, measuring and radiator mounting.

Had to remove the 5.25" bay to get the radiator to fit. The case lost some of its rigidity, but that will be fixed later. The case is really easy to work with!

After hand drilling out all the pop rivets, I tried to mount the rad with fans. Had to drill new holes for the bottom front fan. It takes up quite the amount of space!

Acrylic midpiece

Been doing some work on an acrylic midpiece that I will use later in the build. Heatgun, bend, heatgun, bend, done!

Some of the paracord I will be using throughout this build. It glows in the dark!

Mounting watercooling!

Cutting the mounting clips off of the pumps to make them fit in the reservoir. Easy job with a dremel! The res looks so good!

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_3918.jpg

Mounted the 5.25" bay with some slight modifications. I was at a LAN-party so this had to cut it.

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_3925.jpg

A fine selection of water blocks!

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_3928.jpg

Mounted the VRM and CPU blocks! can`t wat to get these up and running! Also ordered new RAM that fits my RAM-block.

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_3959.jpg

First test! No towels? No paper? No, thats because my Jimmies were already rustled.

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_3962.jpg

RAM arrived together with some coolant! First test after mounting! I liked the sleeving, but I am changing this for other colors later on.

Mounted acrylic window!

Tidying up the case. Lets see how long it lasts this time. :p:

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_4085.jpg

Benchmark of my 6 OCZ Agility 3 in RAID0.

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/HDDperformance.png

Mounting more radiator!

Draining the loop. Look how discolored the tubing is after just one month!

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_4169.jpg

More draining.

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_4172.jpg

AND KABOOM! This was a lot bigger than I expected. I was hungry to play games again so I ripped out everything needed to make it fit.

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_4174.jpg

RISE-FM. Its good music for modding.

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_4175.jpg

Mayhems Mayhem (or something)

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_4179.jpg

5.25" bay must go :(:

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_4180.jpg

Tighter than a nuns :D:

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x245/Teejay187/IMG_4183.jpg

And there we go. Had to cut of half the locking mechanism on the 8-pin CPU power. Other than that, it went very easy.

That last photo's killing me. Why did you drape the ATX PSU cables over the pipes? There's a grommet right next to them they could have gone through.
