bogdan_kr
I would like to ask two questions: - can "Corsair SSD Toolbox" TRIM under Windows XP? - can it possibly work on ICH7 controller that most probably this HP is equipped with? Thank you :):
litm
Hello bogdan_kr, 1.) Yes, it is possible to send TRIM command to the device on Windows XP. And (it looks like) Toolbox sends it successfully. Please keep in mind, that TRIM is only a notification sent to the device. It is completely up to device (up to its firmware to be precise) how/when to handle/proceed with these requests. 2.) What is mentioned in log file? It could be the line marked by "(error)" tag at the end of log (something similar to "[18:02:59.093] (error) src\DeviceTrimmerThread.cpp:185:..." ). The log file of CSSDT could be found here: %UserProfile%\cssdt.log
