LexTalioniz
Hi, My PSU is nearly a year old but since day one it has had an intermittent rattle that comes from it. It generally occurs between every 40 seconds and every five minutes. I built my PC specifically for audio recording/editing/mastering and need it to be as quiet as possible (which it is, except for when it rattles). I have tried adjusting the screws with quarter turns, tried making sure they're not too tight nor too loose. I have narrowed it down to the PSU and am sure it must be the fan, it would seem to fit that the fan itself may be loose, occasionally deviating from its proper position. Anyway, I had let it slide until now but it seems to be getting more frequent and I am about to become heavily immersed in audio recording work for which a rattling PSU just won't cut it. Thanks, Alex.
