th3rtythr33
Hey everyone. My 500D RGB SE case came with a Commander Pro labeled 1000D that shows up in the iCue software as Obisidian 1000D. I'm wondering if this is identical hardware to the normal Commander Pro and if I can just overwrite the firmware accordingly. One of the problems is that it appears that the firmware currently on the device makes Lighting Channel 1 always have a reserved spot for the case lighting on the 1000D. Another is that I don't have any Hardware Lighting support. =\ Thanks in advance for any help.
Zotty
Hi buddy,, yes you can change the Firmware to a normal CoPro firmware... Contact support and they should sort you from there.... unless you have the means to do it your self........... and yeah.. as a 1000d CoPro it will be allowing for 22 LEDs for the chassis lighting as first in the chain

th3rtythr33
Interestingly, I disconnected and re-connected the Commander Pro in the process of replacing my CPU cooler with an H100i. After being reconnected, I now see Hardware Lighting options in iCue!
