kimon
Hello - I'm lucky enough to have two BFL Monarch miners and purchased an AX1500i to serve as their PSU. Trying to get a single card running - I've connected two PCIe power cables and one fan cooling cable between AX1500i and the Monarch, but even when I turn the PSU on, it doesn't appear to supply a load. Is installing the Corsair Link a pre-requisite to operation? Anybody know if it is possible to get these two to work in a standalone configuration? One extra data point, when I press the AX1500i self-test button it does power up, as does the monarch. Thanks!
Administrators Technobeard Posted January 20, 2015 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2015 Link is not needed. The PSU is expecting to get a signal on the 24 pin cable. If it's not plugged into anything it won't put out any power. You can either jump it with a paperclip (not recommended for anything but testing) or find online a small adapter to do the same thing on a full time basis.
