Confused Using multiple colours in a profile

Is it really not possible to assign multiple colours to the same lightening profile in iCUE? As example making F5 green and F8 red. It would be very disappointing if that is not possible because I could easily do that with the previous Corsair lightening software that was compatible with Strafe.

Just figured out that this could be done by adding a new layer for each customised button. But damn, this is an ineffective and slow process.

The general iCUE rule is top down supremacy or the top layer takes priority when stacking. However, rule 1 is CTRL + Left Click to selectively highlight specific keys. Your can CTRL + Click drag to cover larger space with the inevitable clean up after.
