Default BSOD WHEN IN DUAL CHANNEL, no problems using one stick of ram at a time.

Just completed new build and pc bsod's when using dual channel memory sticks. Computer works fine when using only one of the sticks (either one). Error codes are memory_management and sometimes irql_not_same_or_equal on bsod. Both sticks have passed an entire night of memtest. Tried raising DRAM voltage to 1.6 from 1.5 and dual channel will now work in standard mode, but not on the default turbo mode. This motherboard is designed for overclockers so why would it have a problem running vengeance ram in its default mode? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
