Question H70 pump INOP

About 2 weeks ago I purchased a H70 Cooler from Newegg. First turned on about a week ago. There was a "humming" sound to the pump. Not all that loud, but noticeable. Otherwise am so far very happy with product, and performance. This morning within a few minutes of startup, the buzzing stopped suddenly, and computer froze. My guess is that the pump is inoperative, but I don't dare turn on computer without it. Checked all connections and they are good. Using your "how to test a PSU" video I got a different PSU up not hooked up to anything but a fan. Fan spins. When I unplug, attach pump, and turn on again. Still have fan but no pump sound at all. A slip in box says not to return to retailer but deal with corsair directly. Any guidance on further troubleshooting steps would be
apprecited.

The pump is audible, so if you don't hear anything it must be dead... time for an RMA request

You should be able to check the pump RPM in the BIOS and it should be around 1300-1400RPM. With the system cold, I would quickly boot up into the BIOS and check the hardware monitor and if you do not see any devices registering in this range then lets get the unit replaced.

Request an RMA

This is, if you have the pump attached to a motherboard header, with my install, I used a 3-4 pin adapter and connected it to the PSU directly. ran out of mobo headers personally but possibly the OP was able to connect their pump to the mainboard.
