Question No 2x2GB Corsair RAM in a 32 bit OS?

I'm a very happy Corsair customer. The quality of the memory has been great and the one time I needed to do an RMA it was the smoothest that I've ever had an RMA process go. Customer support has always been very helpful and easy to get into contact with.

I have 2GB worth of Corsair RAM in my current 32 bit XP SP2 gaming rig, but it's time for an upgrade.

I want to go with a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3R motherboard with Corsair's TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF (2x2GB work of RAM). When I looked at the reviews for this memory on Newegg, I saw a post that stated that Corsair doesn't recommend the 4GB kits for 32 bit operating systems and that it's not supported under warranty.

Is this true? I work with computers all the time and I know that a 32bit Windows OS isn't going to see all 4GB of RAM. That doesn't bother me, but using the 4GB kit and not having warranty service available would be a show stopper for me using Corsair RAM again.

My question is if I buy the TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF for the GA-EP45-DS3R motherboard, will the memory work?

If it does work, will it be covered under warranty if something goes wrong down the road?
