What does the cable from the CoPro to the Fan Hub look like? Is it the same on both ends? Is it only two wires (Pins 2 and 3)?

Are you running any other monitoring tools? Have you tried restarting the Corsair USBXp Driver in Device Manager?
This sounds like a conflict with some other application that's accessing the cooler.

If you connected it to a 4-pin Aura header, it most definitely messes up the fans. 4-pin Aura is a 12V LED ... the fans have 5V LEDs. They go boom at 12V.

That's because Link is a 32-bit application and they are limited to 16 cores.

Link is also End of Life. Use iCUE instead. iCUE should recognize all 18 cores.
