Perhaps, I really messed with mine and it works and feels fine. I also messed with one at Best Buy today and if too felt fine.

Can't say I share your experience. It feels fine to me. I have used or owned quite a few mechanical keyboards and this one is by far my favorite. Don't know about he K70 haven't used that one. I have the K65 and use it about 2-5 hours a day with no complaint.
