I have the z97 chipset and it's doing the disconnect thing. It's not just steam. I installed iCUE and nothing else and it would randomly disconnect if iCUE was running. With out iCUE running it never disconnects.

It has nothing to do with steam. Did a fresh install of windows, installed iCUE and disconnect happened 5 min after. If it's a usb problem with iCUE that's corsairs problem.

On my cooler it NEVER disconnected when I closed iCUE and stopped it from running.

For the aio you can set it to what you want then stop the program from loading when windows starts. Still this is bull. Being told to run a static color on an RGB cooler? We know it's not the hardware directly as it runs fine as long as iCUE isn't loaded. The only corsair part that didn't have a problem is my speakers.

Doubt they're going to give 2 weeks with out my system and my shipping costs.

The consumers sure have blown a gasket. Sent mine off spending $30 in shipping for pump problems. I didn't even bother mentioning about about the USB disconnects, because I knew that it wasn't fixable. Wait 2 weeks to get a piece of junk that still Makes horrendous pump noise when on silent Makes grinding noise when on balanced Thanks corsair for wasting my money and time with out a system. The only cooler I have will scratch my glass. So that's not an option. Nor am I going to spend $30 more for another cooler, and reset all of my overclock settings. No it isn't the fans. I zero'd out all my fans including the PSU. I'm lucky that I don't have to use the garbage software. Others have corsair products that needs iCUE. We all know it's the software that's the issue. If you don't run it, there is no disconnects. This is an awesome experience. Notice the sarcasm. Corsair should of gave a refund as an option.

True. Never liked corsair peripherals. Looks like this cooler is the last thing I buy from them.

It was happening a lot so maybe that did it in. So much for buying a RGB cooler. I'll try keeping the rgb like that guide said. Has corsair even admitted this yet?

Mine did the exact thing. Latest firmware and iCUE. Disconnect sound then there was a disco in my case. This could happen for 10 minutes or more at a time, disconnecting and reconnecting over and over. To add insult to injury the pump decided to become faulty. I hope the replacement doesn't have these issues. It's not even 2 months old. Also, I don't have a spare cooler while I ship it out. I'm a bit choked. If you want to hear the pump.
