  1. I assume this is what you want? In the 3rd image, I delete the 15th event, which would be me releasing A (key 1). In the 4th picture, you can see the release event deleted. After trying this out, it seems like A won't work unless I have the release A event as well somewhere in there. Mind you, I only tried this in notepad, and without the release A event, the macro would only write out "bc", and when adding the release A event it would then write out "abc", meaning the keystroke works as expected. Unsure if this would work differently in a game. Maybe you can have another macro bound to another key that has it's trigger set to toggle and repeat the action with minimal delay to keep holding the key 1 down until you toggle it again?
  2. The type of macros matter. Something that's more QOL, like, for example, open the inventory, move the mouse to an item and equip it/use it, that's fine. Having the macro manage the spray pattern of a weapon for you or remove other skill-based difficulties, that's what's concidered cheating and is grounds for a ban. But generally, game makers and cheat makers tend to not want to risk it, and instead ban the use of all macros, even QOL, if enough users cause problems with cheating-macros. And I'd rather not have that happen, as it could progress to the point where they outright ban the entire software, including the critical features to control fan and pump speeds.
  3. Yeah, that's not what profiles or macros for that matter are intended for. I'd recommend you don't do this, cause best case scenario you get banned, and worst case scenario they'll ban anyone running iCUE in the background when gaming as it could be used for cheating if more people do what you do. And for a software that for some people are critical to handle fan and pump speeds, you want to be able to have that running. Learn the sprays yourself, learn the weapons and get skills. Having the computer do it for you ain't it, chief.
  4. 1. Select a device in iCUE, for example a keyboard. 2. Go to the tab that says "Lighting Effects" 3. Press the yellow "+" button. 4. Under "Lighting Link", select "Rain". 5. Tweak the alternating colors and speed to your desire. 6. ?? 7. Profit. Jokes aside, at step 5 you're done. It's the same effect that was used by the rain scene. Or should be anyway, if my memory from the one and only time I used the rain scene (and scenes in general) serves me correctly.
  5. Hey Walnuts! Did not expect to find you here. First thing I saw was your profile picture, instantly recognized it and it got me very confused. It made me question if I was either hallucinating or on a completely different website. Anyway, hope you and the others of TTT are good, and doing good in life. 🙂
  6. All my suggestions are in this thread: As for favorites, purple and blue rain effect is top-tier. I don't really use macros or profiles made by others.
  7. o7 (salute) all. I've been a user of iCue for a long time, since times before they added "i" before "Cue" actually. However, it is only in recent times that they have started supporting plugins. To this there are a few things that could've made it better. Here's my suggestions for things to change or add: Option to load unsigned/custom plugins without having to modify "dsound.dll". It has it's dangers, sure, but it would allow for many great integrations with lots of diffetent hardware and software. Option to either prevent installation of selectable plugins during setup/update, or disable plugins that are not needed, perhaps via a menu similar to the "Software and Games" tab? Remembering user changes of service settings. Example: Disabling the MSI Plugin Service should keep it disabled after a software update. Regarding other QoL changes I'd also love to see be implemented/added (outside the scope of plugins): Allowing us to rename devices without having to manually edit the "config.cuecfg" file. Also fix remembering these names on reboot for plugin devices. Allowing us to hide the "Scenes" section of the home page. I'd rather see the sensors get more space without having to open the dashboard, since I don't use scenes. Allowing us to save Equalizers in a method similar to "Lighting Library", since you can't copy Equalizers between profiles except if you clone a profile. Allowing us to have separate equalizers for multiple devices. The equalizer I run with sounds great on my Void Pro USB, but on my HS70 Pro Wireless it has too much bass. I switch between the two often due to VR. So, a different equalizer per device instead of one for all would be great. Allowing us to rearrange the devices on the home page. Linux support. I know there's already a thread for it, but it deserves to be said once more. I hope the fine folks at Corsair sees this and take atleast a few of them into concideration. So far it's been a great software, especially with version 4, but I believe that these changes would make it that much better. Cheers. 🙂 - CYRO
  8. Not sure what you're on about, you can place objects there perfectly fine. I can keep expanding both objects and the Window size and place even more objects there, or compress the window and still have no dead space. I'm on version 4.14, but this has always worked exactly the same since v4 came out, atleast for me.
  9. +1 on Linux support. I've had it with Windows, and the only reason I can't switch to Linux is because of my Corsair devices. Wouldn't be able to control my AiO cooler and fans, nor the lighting for anything. Linux support would help a lot of people make the switch to Linux possible. And I'm guessing a lot of people will as Steam is actively working on Linux support to for a large number of games.
