i was thinking of going with the Push and Pull but lol i dont know how it is
My Guess: I think from what i seen is using an Exhaust fan on the back of the radiator and on the other side is an Intake Fan
So what i was thinking is

The Antec 1200 Exhaust Fan as the Rear Fan
Then the Radiator in the middle
Then the Stock Corsair Fan as the intake

Hello everyone,

I am also experiencing random freezes in my new system, like BlackLoTuS. I've tried different OS (Windows XP and Windows 7, the latter wouldn't even install as it would freeze while decompressing files). My experience is that my system will freeze under mild, moderate or heavy load.

System will necessary freeze when starting playing games.

RAM is operating at Mobo "Auto" specs (1333 Mhz, 9-9-9-24, 1.5V)

Here is what I've done:

1) I've checked load on my Power Supply with the aid of a multimeter. It is within limits;

2) I was also suspecting  about overheating but when I run Prime95 for hours everything goes fine. Temperatures are always kept within acceptable limits for a torture test like this: CPU (62ºC), GPU(40ºC), System (45ºC);

3) I've updated my Motherboard BIOS to the latest version and problems still occur;

4) I've ran Memtest86 tests batch and it did fine, no errors reported.

Here is what I've done and got SUCCESS:

1) Lowered Operating Frequency to 1066 Mhz without changing any other settings (I got this tip from another thread here). System has been stable, I could install Win7, games are playing fine, etc.

As I've read that my MoBo is picky on RAM, so I do not know which component is faulty: Mobo or RAM. I am pretty I've read somewhere they were compatible.

Anyway, system is doing fine but it would be nice if I could make my memory modules run at their original speed (1333Mhz). Suggestions?

My Corsair RAM module PN is "TW3X4G1333C9DHX".

Best regards,

João Pedro

I bought a 16GB flash voyager right around April that worked perfectly till about last week. I had it plugged into my Macbook running Snow Leopard and backed up some school related documents. Several days later I plugged it in to transfer more files and OSX's Finder would not recognize anything being plugged in, but the blue light on the flash drive would blink, and disk utility would show a 16gb Corsair drive. I plugged it into a Win 7 machine and it found it without a problem. I thought it was problem with my Macbook and tested several different thumb drives across both USB ports but they were all detected without a problem. I backed up the files on the Win 7 machine, reinserted the flash drive to my Mac and formatted using Disk Utility. I took the drive and plugged it back into the Win 7 machine hoping that I could just transfer my files back. The Win 7 machine said it needed to be formatted. I attempted to format it on the Win 7 machine, but it only created a 200 MB partition. Using the Win 7 disk utility, it showed the drive had a 200 MB partition and the rest of the space was in another, but it was untouchable. After I ejected the drive and I tried physically removing it, the casing slid off, leaving the exposed USB circuit board sticking out of my computer. Not really wanting to shock myself on this make shift taser, I turned off my computer and removed the drive.

I'm not really sure where to go from here, as I believe the drive is defective physically and electronically.

Today I decided to fire up one of my offline rigs and received a "memory test failed" at the BIOS screen. This is an Athlon XP-M Barton/Abit NF7-S v2.0 setup with BIOS settings 11.0 x 200MHz CPU, 2-3-3-11 memory with FSB:DRAM 1:1 and vDimm of 2.8. Total RAM is 2 sticks CMX1024-3200C2PT running dual channel in Dimm slots 3 and 2 (per Abit's instructions) for a total of 2GB. This rig has been running successfully for at least 2 years based on this setup with no changes.

Obviously with a memory failure I ran memtest86+ using both sticks in the current setup with the result being an immediate failure on test #1(LOADS of errors that seem to never stop). To try and determine which stick (or both) was faulty I removed the one from dimm2 slot and proceeded to run memtest86+ only on the ram in dimm3 (this by the way is the first slot to occupy for this board according to Abit). This setup ran fine with no errors for over an hour. Next I removed this stick and placed the previous ram stick from the original setup of dimm2 into dimm3 and ran the test again. Immediate failure on test #1 with LOADS of errors. Stop test and put the good ram stick back in dimm3 and ran memtest86+ again just to make sure. Again tests were 100% successful for another hour. Also as a side note, I unplugged and powered everything down, as well as grounded myself, when removing and changing the components out.

Unless I have left anything out, I would like to be granted an RMA please.

ALSO - I do not remember if these were in one package or two individual ones when I purchased them from Newegg ... BUT I do know they were bought at the same time. My question is do I need to send both of them in for replacement or do you have replacements in stock that will match up with the one that is not faulty? I do not want a replacement that will be incompatible with the good stick of ram. To the best of my knowledge, to run dual channel without issue the ram must be rated the same.

This is what I have (taken from the sticker on the side):

CMX1024-3200C2PT             XMS3202v2.1
XMS3200   1024MB   400MHz   CL2

Thanks for your time.

I am having problems with corrupted drivers. I dont know if this is a SSD problem, or the fact they are in RAID0. On start up it wont let me boot into windows, says corrupted or missing drivers. I tryed "last Known Good Config.", Safe mode, Safe Mode w/ Cmd., and every other option. It never works. I ran a mem test and everything passed. I had the Vista 64 disk so I go in to repair the OS. It finished so I restarted and it gave me the same error. I finally was able to get it to boot into windows by trying to restore, I diddnt have any because I turned them offso I dont know why it worked. I went to the Event Man. to try to see if it recorded anything, the only thing was enter sleep mode successfully. So I played some games and ran some programs and everything was fine. When I restarted to see if it would boot into windows fine, I got another corrupted or missing file of another name. repeated the steps and got back into vista. I have a Win 7 upgrade disk and thought it might be a good idea to upgrade, but I am in Africa at the moment with limited resources. Anyone know of a way to fix this, or should I take the chance of up grading? Specs are diff. than the one on my profile.

The 2GB has CAS latency of 4-4-4-12 and the 4GB has 5-5-5-12 (meant 5-5-5-18). I did notice just now that the voltage on the 2 sets are different. Will these two twins work together? Do I need to do some manual settings? Is the fact that I am using an old version of Memtest to blame? I have not touched the bios with regards to memory. Also, I may not be using the latest bios.
When I received it I examined and really only noticed that the plug may have been changed. Does anyone know what may have been modified to make this work in the dell precision workstation 670? I tried plugging a regular 3-pin fan into the system and it didn't like it so it seems the did modify to make this work. They mention having the use a dell system fan to make this mod. I'm just wondering if all they salvaged was the plug. Thanks
