M90 no longer works.
When I edit a macro on my M90 and save, usually my mouse DPi will lower ether for a moment or it I will have to set it back to the desired DPI. So this time it lowered the DPi and wouldn't go back higher, so I clicked the Dpi bar and raised it back to max.
But when I did that the mouse stopped moving the cursor completely, all the lights and buttons worked but the sensor didn't. I tried changing USB ports but that did nothing, so I restarted.
Now it doesn't even light up at all on any of my computers, in fact they all say its a unknown USB device.
How do I fix this?
edit: looking at device manager, its telling me in the "unknown device" properties that "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".

Uninstall the M90 software and reinstall it. See if it changes anything.

I tried that, but because all of my computers detect it as "Unknown Device", the software refuses to install because it can't detect the mouse.

Hi,
After a whole day figuring out how to assign a macro with "Hardware Playback" selected I arrive home today to have this exact same problem posted here..sigh.
Not sure how I fixed it but I plugged in my old hp mouse alongside my Corsair (Corsair in a usb 2 slot) so I had some control of the pointer, uninstalled the M90 mouse software (not the firmware update), rebooted, tried to re-flash the m90 with the FW 1.11 tool but it didn't recognise the mouse...so re-installed M90 Mouse software and rebooted, then I was able to re-flash the mouse...seems to be ok so far..I'll let you know if I have more similar probs.
One observation, the mouse worked fine during Windows login, only after the M90 Mouse Software had loaded the Left Mouse Button stopped working so I re-booted and then the m90 stopped working completely. It seems like Profiles in mouse memory causing isuues, perhaps. I was unable to select a new profile to be sure.

I had tried doing that, but no matter what my computers said the mouse wasn't plugged in. Even though it was detecting it as a unknown usb device.
Mine doesn't work at all, no lights, nothen.
It ether just randomly broke or there is something in the memory that's causing the error as it was acting funny beforehand whenever I saved to the mouse.
Is there anyway to clear the mouse's memory?

What version of firmware and software were all of you using? If re-flashing the mouse with the newest firmware does not solve the issue, and you tried it on a different machine as well, go ahead and fill out a RMA so we can replace it for you.

I can't tell anymore because I can't even reinstall the software. I believe it was the most up to date, I can't even re-flash the mouse as it says wasn't plugged in.

Let's go ahead and replace it for you. Request a RMA to the left and give me your case number.

While I find the Purchase date, can we keep troubleshooting this in case it turns out I don't actually have to RMA it.

There is nothing to trouble shoot if the mouse is not detected the only choice is to replace it, sorry.

August 16 I bought the mouse on amazon and it arrived today. Pack intact and I have the same problem. I downloaded the driver 1.0.0.29, launched the firmware update software and the lights are off (buggy software). I installed the mouse software but nothing. I tried it on another 6 USB ports with repeated reboots but nothing more. I installed the driver firmware yet ... nada. I try on my notebook, same procedure and usual message "Can not open USB device, please plug the device into a USB port or reinstall driver."
first and last device corsair

@redred
Contact your seller and ask if they can replace the M90 for you. If not, Request an RMA to get it replaced by Corsair.
