Default RMA or Return to Amazon

So I think I've got a back stick of memory. New build with a G1.Sniper M3 and CMS16GX3M4A1600C9B. Things running great, then blue screen of death with cach errors, page faults. It became impossible to boot into any drive, off USB, didn't boot off CD, finally removed video card, all drives, still had same error. Removed memory all but one. Got it booted, no more errors.

Got Memtest on a USB key, narrowed it down to one stick. Whenever I plug this one stick in, memtest gives errors, regardless of where I plug it in. So the question is, should I RMA the one stick, or how does that work?

Is it faster to just get a replacement from Amazon where I bought it a three weeks ago?
